By registering / winning / ordering tickets / making use of a group discount for the Dutch International Zouk Teachers Course & Congress you accept the following terms & conditions, Disclaimer, Privacy Statement and our mass event regulations.

 

Tickets

  • It is the buyers own responsibility to collect all information needed to inform him/herself about the terms & conditions, also within a group discount.

  • Cut off dates for each ticket type are in CET (Central European Time) UTC/GMT +1 hour.

  • In case of discounted prices when paid before 1st of the month and 11th October 2024, it is necessary to take into account that banks hold transfer money for up to three days. We cannot guarantee discounted price in case of delayed payment.

  • Dutch International Zouk Congress Foundation is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket or attendance at the event.

  • By purchasing a ticket in any way the buyer agrees to the transfer and cancellation policy found on the terms & condition page.

  • The PayPal/Credit Card surcharge is to cover fees passed on by our merchant and as such is not negotiable or refundable.

  • The added 2,0% + € 1,50 - capped at € 12,99 - transaction fee is added by and for the ticket service provider and as such is not negotiable or refundable.

  • Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and Dutch International Zouk Congress Foundation.

  • Dutch International Zouk Teachers Course and/or Congress Ticket does not include Flights, Food, Drinks and Accommodation. Accommodation can be booked directly at the hotel of your choice. We have selected several options for every budget and you can make use of some special hotel deals for participants of the event. For more information please see: http://dutchzouk.nl/hotels/.

  • To complete the registration it is necessary to submit your full name as in passport, type of ticket you want & e-mail address. Only after we receive payment the registration will be considered completed. Every participant will be notified by e-mail about completion of their registration.

 

 Upgrade

  • It is possible to upgrade your Pass.

  • In order to proceed with the upgrade you need to notify that to the organizer and make a surcharge which is the current difference of the prices between the two passes, according to the event’s pricing table. The payment should be paid to the organizer’s bank account or PayPal account.

COVID

  • We want to create the safest environment for everybody at Dutch Zouk and maintain our family atmosphere at the same time. So we will take safety precautions according to the government measurements that are mandatory at that time.

  • We will be announcing more Artists, DJ’s and features that we’re adding tot the event this year!

  • Due to the current circumstances, the participation of any artist, venue’s, program and terms & conditions are subject to change, travel regulations and (city) government measurements & regulations.

  • We reserve the right to cancel Dutch Zouk if the Covid-19 situation requires so. We do not take any responsibility for your travel cost and other expenses.

  • We reserve the right to ask all participants for a corona entry proof. This is fully in line the regulations set by the Dutch government.

  • We reserve the right to deny entry for participants who cannot show a valid corona entry proof.

  • We reserve the right to deny entry for anyone who has been tested positively for Covid-19.

  • We deserve the right to to deny entry for anyone who has covid related symptoms or ask to leave the event to create the safest environment.

  • Tickets for Dutch Zouk are not refundable. Participants who have been denied entry due to due to Covid-19 (i.e., no valid corona entry proof or a positive test), cannot get their ticket(s) refunded.

  • If Dutch Zouk is cancelled due to the Covid-19 virus, the tickets will be automatically transferred to the next edition. Transfer of tickets are accepted once, no more than one year, no more than one person. Tickets are not refunded.

Refund

  • We cannot refund your ticket after purchase, for whatever reason (including emergencies).

  • For all ticketing enquiries including any changes to your booking please contact the Dutch Zouk Team at info@dutchzouk.nl

  • We are not responsible for and don't refund travel, accommodation, food or any other costs in any case (including emergencies).

 

Transfer

  • If you purchase your ticket and due to a change in circumstances are no longer able to attend you are able to:

    • Transfer your ticket onto another person. Changing the name of the ticket requires a surcharge of 100% of the difference between the price paid by the first owner and the price as of the day of the notification about the change.

      • The first owner will have to take care of 20 euro administration fee.

      • The buyer, new owner, will have to take care of the surcharge and price paid by the first owner.

    • However it is your own responsibility to find the recipient. You are welcome to make it known you are looking via the Dutch International Zouk Congress Facebook page and Facebook Group.

    • Transfer your ticket onto Dutch Zouk 2025. However you have to cover a surcharge of 100% of the difference between the price paid in 2024 on the moment of buying your ticket and the price of the day in the same moment in 2024 and you will have to take care of 20 euro administration fee.

    • Transfer of tickets are accepted not later than on 21-09-2024.

    • Transfer of tickets are accepted once, no more than one year, no more than one person.

  • Changing the name of the ticket requires a surcharge of 100% of the difference between the price paid by the first owner and the price as of the day of the notification about the change.

    • The first owner will have to take care of 20 euro administration fee.

    • The buyer, new owner, will have to take care of the surcharge and price paid by the first owner.

  • The first owner is not allowed to resell the purchased ticket for a cheaper price as the price of the day according to the event’s pricing table on the website.

  • You can transfer your ticket and change the name of the owner of the pass only once and not later than on 21-09-2024. A repurchased ticket may not be resold again to another person.

  • You can transfer your ticket onto the next edition of Dutch Zouk or onto another person one time. The next year it is not possible to transfer your ticket onto the year after or onto another person again due to any circumstance. We cannot refund your ticket for whatever reason (including emergencies).

  • Boat Party tickets can’t be transfered onto another person and can’t be refunded for whatever reason (including emergencies). Cancelled boat party tickets won’t be valid at the event to enter the boat party.

  • The organizer does not mediate in the search of new owners of a repurchased ticket.

  • Once you have agreed on the transfer, email the recipient’s details, full name as in identification and e-mailaddress, to the Dutch Zouk Team at info@dutchzouk.nl

 

Cancellation

  • We cannot cancel your ticket after purchase, for whatever reason (including emergencies).

  • In case of a serious illness or passing away of the participant and or first line family member of the participant (mother, father, partner, siblings, children & grandparents) it is possible to:

    • Transfer your registration to Dutch Zouk 2025. It will be necessary to show a medical report and proof of family relation. After October 14th 2024 a transfer to Dutch Zouk 2025 will not be possible.

    • Transfer your registration onto another person till 14-10-2024 according to our Transfer Policy. It will be necessary to send us a medical report and proof of family relation to info@dutchzouk.nl.

  • No show participants at the event who didn’t communicate to info@dutchzouk.nl before 21-09-2024 and didn’t collect their wristband at the event cannot:

    • Be transferred onto Dutch Zouk 2025

    • Get a refund of their Dutch Zouk 2024 ticket

    • Transfer their ticket onto another person

Group Discount

  • In case of discounted prices when paid before 1st of the month and 11th October, it is necessary to take into account that banks hold transfer money for up to three days. We cannot guarantee discounted price in case of delayed payment.

  • Once a ticket is registered in the ticket system via the website, it is not possible to apply a group discount or cancel your ticket to join a group and make use of a group discount.

  • Dutch International Zouk Congress foundation is not responsible for any misunderstanding between the group organizer and participants in the group.

  • It is the buyers own responsibility to collect all information needed to inform him/herself about the terms & conditions, also within a group discount.

  • The terms & conditions are also applicable for tickets bought within a group discount.

  • Not in combination with other promotions.

Tickets & wristbands

  • It is obligatory to bring your personal e-ticket and identification confirming the data on the ticket to enter the event.

  • When you can’t present your printed e-ticket and identification, we will charge a 10,00 euro administration fee.

  • Wearing and presenting the event wristband during the whole event is obligatory and non-negotiable.

  • Wearing the event wristband on your wrist is obligatory and non-negotiable.

  • You are entitled to one wristband during the whole weekend of the event. We exchange wristbands only if they get destroyed for some singular reasons. In such case you need to bring your destroyed wristband to the registration desk to exchange it for the new one. We will charge 2,50 euro to exchange your broken wristband.

  • Please pay attention while putting on the wristband, if the grip is comfortable for you.

 

Admission

Admission to the event may be denied, and visitors may be ejected from the event (without any entitlement to a refund of the admission price) if a visitor: (the following list is non-exhaustive):

  • is under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

  • is in the possession of or deals in drugs;

  • was previously refused admission to other events / meetings by the Organiser or other authorities;

  • shows behavior that is evidently aimed at disturbing the peace, provoking, or inciting to violence, hate, anger, xenophobia, race hate, etc.;

  • puts the lives of other visitors at risk;

  • is in the possession of banned objects;

  • refuses to be searched/patted down by security personnel;

  • refuses or fails to comply with the General Terms and Conditions & Mass Event Regulations.

 

Media

  • Please note that during event filming and photographing will take place. By purchasing the ticket you give consent to the use of your image.

  • Of course personal cameras are allowed! Our advice: make as many personal videos and pictures as possible. Tag us and put loads on social media. Use #dutchzouk2024 #DIZC2024 #dutchzoukcongress.

  • A selection of media materials will be published before, during and after the event and can be used as promotion of the event via social media, print media and website.

  • The selection of media materials is done by Dutch Zouk International Congress and is non-negotiable and materials can’t be requested.

  • The selection of media materials is done with the greatest care by Dutch Zouk International Congress. When you do might have some concerns about an image of you, please contact us via info@dutchzouk.nl

  • It is prohibited to use any professional cameras and publish your materials without written consent of the organizer.

  • It is prohibited to use the Dutch Zouk logo and design without written consent of the organizer.

  • It is prohibited to use and or mention Dutch Zouk as your collaboration partner without written consent of the organizer.

Free passes & special offers

  • Passes for Dutch Zouk won in any kind of contest or received for free are not returnable, they cannot be transferred to event or edition or exchanged for cash. We admit upgrades of such passes according to the general terms & conditions. If the winner of a contest already has a pass for this edition, the won pass may be transferred to another owner no later than 14 days after the official results of the contest. In other cases transfering the pass is impossible.

  • Passes sold in special offers may be subject to separate rules of return and can never be combined with a group discount, resale and exchange, transfer to next years edition, detailed in terms & conditions of each offer.

  • Passes sold in Black Friday Deal can not be combined with a group discount, can’t be transfered to the next edtion or onto another person.

     

Hotels

  • When you use an operator website like booking.com to book your hotel, it is not possible to apply one of the Dutch Zouk hotel deals. You need to contact the hotels direct as mentioned on the hotel page on our website to make use of the Dutch Zouk hotel deals.

  • Dutch International Zouk Congress Foundation doesn’t mediate between hotels and participants of the event.

Event

  • Organizers reserve the right to change any part of the event, prices, instructors, workshops, times and locations without previous notice for a better running of the event.

  • All participants are obligatory to follow event- & venue rules indicated by venue and event personnel as mentioned is the mass event regulations on the website.

  • Participation in the event is at your own risk at all times.

  • Organizers are not responsible for any lost and or broken items.

  • Organizers are not responsible for any physical and mental damage and/or loose of income and/or medical costst due any damage.

  • Organizers reserve the right to adjust the terms & conditions without notice at any time for a better running of the event.
