Masterclasses, by audition
Our Foundation focusses on the development of talents of Zouk Dancers. To make sure the advanced(plus) dancers also have the opportunity to improve their technics & skills, we will organize auditions to join the Masterclasses. We will have Masterclass level 1 and level 2. Our judges will decide which level fits you best.
Are you an advanced(plus) dancer and ready to learn even more?
Make sure you're in Studio 2 on Friday at 11.45 in Studio76 for the auditions*.
You don't need to register for the auditions, just make sure you are on time in the studio.
*Make sure you make it to the auditions when you want to try to join the Masterclasses. There is no other opportunity during the event to audition. To be able to join the auditions you need to be in possession of a Package Deal, Combination Ticket and/or Full Pass 8-5-4-3 days.
Masterclasses level 1*
The auditions will be judged by 3 teachers. You will dance 3 different songs with 3 different partners. All dancers who made it through the auditions you are welcome to follow any workshop (Intensive Training is not included) on the schedule including the masterclasses level 1. There will be 12 masterclass level 1 workshops at Dutch Zouk: 4 on Friday, 4 on Saturday & 4 on Sunday.
Participation in masterclasses level 1 will only be possible with an upgrade of your Package Deal, Combination Ticket, Full Pass 8-5-4-3 days of 5 euro. You will have to pay in cash direct after you have been selected for masterclass level 1 to be able to join the masterclass level 1 workshops. Please pay due.
Masterclasses level 2*
The auditions will be judged by 3 teachers. You will dance 3 different songs with 3 different partners. All dancers who made it through the auditions you are welcome to follow any workshop (Intensive Training is not included) on the schedule including the masterclasses level 1 & masterclasses level 2. There will be 12 masterclass level 1 workshops at Dutch Zouk: 4 on Friday, 4 on Saturday & 4 on Sunday. There will be 12 masterclasses level 2 workshops at Dutch Zouk: 4 on Friday, 4 Saturday & 4 Sunday.
Participation in masterclass level 2 will only be possible with an upgrade of your ackage Deal, Combination Ticket, Full Pass 8-5-4-3 days of 10 euro. You will have to pay in cash direct after you have been selected for masterclasses level 1 & 2 to be able to join the masterclasses level 1 & 2 workshops. Please pay due.
To guarantee quality we have a maximal number of participants who will be able to join the masterclasses level 2. All dancers who made it through the second auditions you are welcome to follow any workshop on the schedule including the masterclasses level 1 & masterclasses level 2 (Intensive Training is not included).
Didn't make it through the audition? Don't be sad & don't take it personal! Take the opportunity to learn and practice at the congress and try again next year. Never give up!
